Converge Construction is a Fraser Valley construction company that provides premium construction services for both the commercial and residential sectors throughout Western Canada.

Converge Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team in Mission, BC.

The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

– Monitoring onsite activities, quality, productivity, progress and safety
– Establish detailed scopes of work
– Establish schedules
– Project start up duties
– Project close out duties
– Reviewing project contractual documents to gain an understanding of project requirements
– Providing technical skills and leadership needed to successfully manage projects
– Overseeing the execution of the work, by ensuring that the crews work to job specifications
– Reviewing inspection reports and coordinating resolutions to deficiencies
– Leading project activities to ensure projects are in accordance with designs, budgets and schedules
– Monitoring the efficient use of materials and equipment
– Anticipating potential roadblocks and developing solutions to prevent issues from arising
– Must be able to work out of town as some jobs require out of town Site Management
– Review job cost reports

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time

Salary: $95,000/year

Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation per year + Medical & Dental

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:

– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
– The ability to run multiple projects
– A track record of meeting deadlines and budgets

Language: English

Education: Bachelor Degree or industry related professional certifications required

Experience: 10 years +

In order to be successful, you must be able to meet all the requirements listed and demonstrate your extensive project management experience. Project management or construction management certification is highly desirable.

A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract is also required
